Darlington Civic Theatre closed for 18 months on 31 May 2016 for a major £12 million restoration project made possible by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Darlington Borough Council, corporate and individual giving, and bequests from trusts and foundations. Regenerated and transformed, this Grade II Listed building will re-open in autumn 2017 on its original, expanded site, re-named Darlington Hippodrome, a version of the theatre's original name. For more information on the restoration please visit Our Restoration Blog. To sponsor a seat or talk about making a donation, contact Director of Fundraising and Development firstname.lastname@example.org, tel. 01325 406104.
During the closure period, our ArtsSpark Membership Scheme which provided a number of discounted tickets for children and young people across various shows at the Civic Theatre, is being reviewed and evaluated alongside all of our ticket offers, membership and loyalty schemes. When we reopen as Darlington Hippodrome in Autumn 2017 we will ensure we have quality a range of ticket offers, promotions and engagement activities for all the family, that seek to build customer loyalty and encourage attendance for our audiences.
If you have enjoyed receiving dicounted tickets through the ArtsSpark Membership Scheme and would like to provide any feedback on the scheme, please email email@example.com with your comments.
